I read about this site in a magazine but haven't tried it myself, as I do not have a blog but do intend to start one to earn this money that is on offer.
I believe that you register and you get paid by writing about products and companys supported by blogvertise.

It's not quite as simple as that, you have to have an established blog, and if your blog does not meet their approval they simply ignore you. Or at least they did me!
They payment is not £12 either, it is between $4 and $25, with most payments falling between $5-15.

No need to be sorry, I have no evidence that it is a bad site, but don't think it is quite what the magazine makes it out to be.
I don't recall anyone in here making money from it, but also don't recall anyone saying they were ripped off by it. But I don't think it's as easy as "if you have a blog you can earn £12 per post".
As I indicated in my previous post, I actually tried it, but they never replied to me.0
