Question regarding my rights inregard to being sent the wrong item

Hi All.. I hope this is ok to ask here, Im not sure of where else to ask.
Iv just purchased a flat screen monitor from an online shop (this shop has been going for years, and Iv had no problem with them at all to date). So, today the monitor turned up, but its the wrong model, its the right make and size but its a lower end model. Normaly this would not worry me, but on the side of the box (which Iv opened now) theres a sticker saying......
"this box must be opened imediatly and inspected, any damages must be reported within 24 hours"
Two problems with that statment...
The itens are not damaged, just incorrect and they are now shut for the weekend, ill have to contact them on Monday - over 48 hours away
With all this in mind, what are my rights in regard to getting the correct model. Will there be any way they can turn around and say "you should not have signed for it" "you should not have opened it", "we are not required to collect, you will have to post it back" - which would cost around £20 i would think
Any advice would be great
cheers!

you should be fine. Just call the shop, obviously that statement doesn't apply to you. They legally can't charge you for something you didn't order, think about it...
they are required to collect it. You shouldn't be put out of pocket by 1p.0
