I have done a mystery shop today for £8, which will be counted when it finally arrives.....and the usual clicks and stuff.

Also got the first months money for renting our spare room out to our student.....that is £512 but I don't count this for the purposes of the challenge because I would have to do it anyway, just to make ends meet!!

As I have been having a bad month, I thought that I would not manage to do anymore than the £22.14 I had done so far, but I had a gift of £80 and after a lot of deliberation Ihave decided to add that to my total, (if nothing else to boost my ego). The month has been just one disaster after another. So I hope that this is allowed!!

I'm sure that will be okay mooloo.

I've just won £30 on bingo! I was taking advantage of one of the cash back site offers where you put in £10 and get the equivalent of £20 back - and I won on top. How good is that! I've still got some of my free bonus to play too but thought I would come out for now until I've worked out how to make sure I spend my free bonus rather than my winnings! So I will be adding that to my sig.

Also my cleaner cancelled this week - can I add that to my challenge as it will save me £21?

  • No addition to my target, but I got my new generator steam iron today from Bzz.:j I do enjoy being one of their agents (trying new products) - I paid £20 and I got the iron (which has rrp of £130!). I was thinking of getting one of these for myself but thought it was waayy too extravegant. So, huge saving for me! Sadly not including it in this challenge though.

There was a mention of the magpie site in the Guardian money section on Saturday and it was fairly positive.
