Managed to do bootsale this afternoon and got £25 for my pot (OH and OHDS got some for theirs too)
Purplevamp - I know it is easy to feel intimidated but the people i've met in the industry are very friendly and it is in their interests to get your valuable opinion. That's why the pay is relatively high for a short period of time.
Rachelja - how far north are you - we organise groups in Edinburgh, Manchester, Leeds etc. Best bet would be to PM me and when I go to work on Monday I will email back some recruiters names and perhaps some viewing studios as they be able to advise you further.
Tinkerbel - see above - will do the same if you PM me.
    Thanks for all your comments.

Hi all, have done a few mystery shops today so have increased my total by around thirty pound. Am ticking along nicely, but as ever, its largely down to mystery shops!

On another point - I work for a Market Research company recruiting people to take part in focus groups - mentioned earlier in this thread and we always have a problem recruiting. Why don't people register?
For me - I wouldn't know how/where to sign up. Also I would assume that in my quite little corner of North Wales there wasn't much call, and that it is people in cities who would benefit.

Not made anything today  LOL.

Envelopes arrived from Music Magpie today so I've packaged up my CDs and will be posting those on Monday so I hope the cheque will arrive shortly after that :j .

It's been a low-spend day though - just vegetables from the market :j ... though I did then go and buy a big bar of chocolate to celebrate the fact that I'd spent so little  :rotfl:

Will be glad when the smilies on this site starting working again properly. Presume everyone else is having the little red cross problem, and not just the few of us who have mentioned it? :-s

  • Good day today -

    £19.58... ebay
    £1... survey

Finally reached the £200 mark (not really going to count my cash win!) so that's good. I have a couple of things ending on ebay and then I'm going to have to put my thinking cap on as I'm running out of ideas! :o

Made £81 yesterday doing a party, am well pleased. This challenge has been my most successful to date, I don't think I have every succeeded in one yet!

It has given me the incentive to earn the extra money which is great, just a pity my OH & DS love spending it!
