yay my nana just gave me £20 for helping tidy her flat and doing her shopping for her. Done a few small surveys and clicks but wont count these till i can claim the cash. Almost got £20 on topcashback to claim too. Off to do some nappy shopping on boots.com later. 500extra points when you spend £40 or more. Was gonna pop to town to get them but might as well get the extra points. My cash total so far is £45 and my voucher total is £25 so not doing too bad for my first month.

  • I have just received a letter from take a break saying they should be publishing my tip, so that's £60 although I wont officially get that money this month so I probably wont add that yet. Starting to get a bit closer to getting vouchers on various survey sites. Hoping to get one by the end of the week.

I got a few vouchers and money off coupons in the post though :j

  • Well I am probably not going to count this but wanted to shout about it somewhere cos I can't stop grinning.

I work in the music industry and as such, some of the work I do is on a speculative basis. I have been working with a band who I know and love for over a year now booking shows and keeping them all in check etc but have not been charging them as they really didn't have it. They recently signed to a very big management company and my job became almost redundant overnight although the band still personally ask me to sort out a lot of stuff for them. Well I was told last week could I sent my bank details off to them as they had a token payment for me to say thanks for all my hard work. Logged into my online banking this morning to find they had transferred me £1000!!!! Am speechless! I couldn't quite believe it but instantly transferred £500 of it to the Inland Revenue for the defecit of last years tax bill which as of Friday will stand at £0! Not bad considering it was £950 on the 28th July when I fully embraced the DFW spirit. I am so happy!

Probably cheating to count it though eh ;o)

Nothing for a few days but today I got our joint savings updated and have had our annual interest added which is £20.85, not bad. There's nothing happening at the moment, but will have overtime and an Amazon payment due this month, don't think I'll get up to £300 this month. :o
