    .

Has anyone heard of www.musicmagpie.co.uk that pay you money for your old CDs and it even gives you free postage. Might be worth a shot as much easier than listing on Ebay and you don't usually get much for them there.

thanks for this i just emptied my cd box i have at the carboots and got £11.92 for 36 cds. thought i'd never get rid of them! they've been sitting in that box for months, if not years! shocking that my blacksteet cd was the highest earner!

    Hi everyone!
please put me down for £10 a day in September.

I didn't make it in August but didn't do too badly, bigger push this month.:D

I've printed off my 'click' list and must really get into it. Doing OK with the daily bingo scratch cards too. I've even won the odd 50p instead of the guaranteed 10p :D

Will make a 'to do' list later today.

Well I'm off the blocks with 30 from quidco for signing up for a credit card (which I will cut up immediatly!) I'll add it when it tracks as I'm immediate gratification girl :D . I'm also considering taking out an ISA through quidco which will bank me 110! This is something I've been meaning to do anyway - but I need to do a bit more research first.

Other things I will do this month:
    1. List books on Amazon
    2. Do some ebaying (are charges going up? if so when?)
    3. Try to sell some CDs
    4. Surveys (I have fallen off the wagon with these - must get back on!)
    5. Look into mystery shopping - this may be tricky as I work long hours and commute
    6. Anything else that comes my way!

We thought about the ISA business as well but didn;t really understand how tied in we would be and if the interest is guaranteed or if we could lose money and didnt look into it enough to get the answers, so if you find any answers please let me know.

    Thanks

Ok, time to get the Sept total started - I have made £6.61 from a tiddly matched bet - not much but it is a start.

And I am battling through some Slice The Pie.......the only thing more tedious for a Sunday afternoon would be to do the ironing but that doesn't pay.....

Also, we picked up our new lodger today - she pays us the equivalent of £17 per day.......If I counted this in our challenge we would be home and dry, but I don't want to make it that easy for myself!!

Not sure how long you are tied in, but you do have to put in 50 a month min. It is invensting in the stock market - so interest is not guaranteed and you may well lose money - in fact you will likely lose money in the short term given the state of the economy at the moment. However, my understanding (which is very very elementry) is that the the time to invest in the stock market is when stocks are cheap (as they are increasingly becoming) then when the market recovers and goes up again (as it always has in the past) your money grows quickly. It is a medium to long term investing strategy so the idea is that you don't need the money for at least 5 years and you can afford to wait to sell them until you get a good price. If you look on the L&G website you can click on each of their funds and see a chart of what has happened to prices over the past several years. HTH!

Righty ho! new to this, so feeling a bit daunted. I have listed 6 games on Amazon and already sold 3!! will list money when I get it in my account. Have also listed a couple of items of ebay, now my camera needs recharging before I can take any more photos - typical!!

I've also arranged to do a car boot sale with my mum next Sunday so will sort out masses of stuff for that. Will also read up on tips for car boots.
