I think all of the bop it's it would be fine for an 8 year old.

We have the original bop it (only three things to do) and it makes a fantastic drinking game if you put it on the game where you have to pass it. Whoever gets it wrong has to take a drink. Now I'm not promoting binge drinking or anything, but obviously the more times you get it wrong - the harder it is. But it is excellent fun. Kids could join in too I guess with non alcoholic drinks or some other sort of punishment, but it's not half as fun!

I think I saw it in TJ Hughes this morning for £4.99, but can't find it on their website. But that may help someone who's not got one of the other shops mentioned so far near them. New one just opened on the Abbeywood Retail Park (by Big W, Matalan, Next Clearance, Brantano and a pet store.

Boots are selling Bop It Extreme for £19.99 but it's part of their 3 for 2 offer on Christmas gifts so if you buy any other 2 items that are more expensive you would get this free ( and advantage card points on the rest of your shopping). Didn't see it in my local Boots cos it's only a little 'un but it's in their christmas gift brochure

Got Bop It Extreme last year for christmas and it kept the whole family amused for the whole day. It started off as fun but then it turned quite competitive - boy things did get tense with everyone trying to beat each otehr. Good fun.

Yes we got a delivery of 298 bop it's last saturday in our store (Blackburn) they are £4.99 and I think each store will have plenty.

bop-it is going to be £15 from tomorrow on the nurseryandtoys website, just got email from them cos i told them it was cheaper elsewhere.

I've never played bop it (or even heard of it!) but due to this thread I bought 2 for xmas pressies in home bargains in Sheffield today,there was one more left out on the shelves.
