we could always send trading standards to Asda. They constantly advertise things as on special offer & then when the offer has finished the so say normal price is cheaper than the offer was.
They can actually get done for this
but I didn't think of them...I was thinking along the lines of Enviromental health as I am sure it will be a health issue...
I only refused to accept that flour that was on my order last monday the 8th September...
I put the other in the bin...I didn't get a refund cos they said I didn't show the van driver the flour...so I am not to happy with them at present although it didn't come to more than afew quid it was still my money...

I went to Tesco at Shepton Mallet for their last 7 packets and was told that they thought Hovis Bread Mix would be discontinued after the warehouse had cleared their remaining stock. Our Somerfields do not stock it at all.0

Obituary - Clean Joke
Veteran Pillsbury spokes model Pop 'N Fresh died yesterday of a severe yeast infection. He was 71. Fresh was buried in one of the largest funeral ceremonies in recent years. Dozens of celebrities turned out including Mrs. Butter worth, the California Raisins, Hungry Jack , Betty Crocker, and the Hostess Twinkies. The grave side was piled high with flours as a long time friend, Aunt Jemima, delivered the eulogy, describing Fresh as a man who never knew how much he was Kneaded. Fresh rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with many turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half backed schemes. Still, even as a crusty old man, he was a roll model for millions. Fresh is survived by his second wife. They have two children and another in the oven. The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Asda online is back to 77p, but Tesco online is 27p for granary, 29p for the white.
Unfortunately Tesco will charge you the higher price if they have to substitute your choice for a more expensive option. (Unlike Asda who only charge you the price of your chosen item- great if you select lots of Smart Price!)
Great tip for killing weevils btw, thanks.Worse things will have happened in the world today..."The only thing that really matters, it to love and to be loved."0 -
can I just say...OP please do this but after you have told us so we can get the same offer as you then we can all laugh at asda with you ...secondly I have just had to chuck all my bread mixes and flour out cos it was crawlling...all from asda all contaminated...could be the reason why it was on offer...
Had this in flour from Sainsburys a couple of years ago (when i shopped there regularly before discovering cheaper lidls, etc). Other half took it to customer services, and told them he had thrown out all store cupboard products on shelf in disgust!!!He was refunded and given £20 to £30 ish as far as i remember to cover cost of what he threw out! Don't know what asda would do, but surely worth complaining? P.S. I now have some unopened packs of Hovis in cupboard, will check carefully before i use!!!0
