I wanna dvd player with speakers

My sons bedroom is getting too cluttered, so I want to get rid of his ageing stereo and replace it with a cheap dvd player that can also be used as a cd player to save room.I'm not bothered about surround sound or 5.1 dolby,just stereo will do.

Interesting suggestion, but the best I could suggest if just listening through the TV, as I don't think DVD players with speakers are easy to find.

My only other suggestion would be to get some PC speakers and use a combination of adaptors and connectors to connect them to the phono outputs (I did consider doing this once myself but never got round to it).
