I gave a big stockpot to the charity shop last year when I bought a slow cooker. Really regretted it afterwards, as the stockpot held so much more and was great for batch cooking.

No, nothing. its all been passed on to charities or people who hav been able to use and love the things so no regretts. also it enables me to have the joy or getting new [or new-to-me] stuff on a regular basis, which is lovely.

I decluttered my wardrobe and got rid of any clothes that I needed to lose over half a stone to get into as I didn't think it was likely ..... two years on I have lost two stone and keep thinking of all those lovely clothes I ebayed or gave to the charity shop and how good some of them would look now :o

Ah, see my theory (maybe) is a bit better! I'm hoarding all my small clothes (thoroughly sorted through though!) in the garage and as I'm 'shrinking' out of my big stuff I'm getting rid of it. It'll also stop me 'growing' back into it when I hit target weight! (which I've done once already - size 18 to 12/14 back to 20/22 now 16/18 again aiming for 12) :o

Snap. I lost a lot of weight a few years ago and bought lovely clothes. Had another baby and can't lose it again now. I refuse to throw the clothes away because I HAVE to get back into them. When I did lose the weight originally, I threw all of my big clothes away and so have had to but them all over again.

Yeah I've done that too - no regrets about getting rid of the size 16 stuff now I'm back into a 12 but have to confess to keeping one or two trusty size 14's for those feeling fat days :o Just miss all those nice size 12 clothes I used to have (my wardrobe is currently being replaced by stuff bought from charity shops and ebay ;))

    Yes.

When we moved into our house 4 years ago, the previous owners had left all the curtains. We decorated our back room 2 years ago and the curtains that were up were a yucky colour so we freecycled them. Unfortunately, the ones we have now are unlined and the yucky ones were fully lined big thick ones. Wish I'd kept them just to use during winter months as we are now trying to insulate the house a bit more
