OR interview tomorrow, got butterflies.

interview is booked in for tomorrow. Already think I have annoyed the OR as they wanted it a week ago but I had a holiday booked (a free one, which when they asked me how it was paid for I was relieved it was free!)

Been trying to make a list of things they may ask me about (Like the £3000 peronal injury payout I got 7 months ago but is now £0) which im really worried about, but i will just be honest, there is no plasma in the house! Just on a few treats for me and my daughter, car bills etc.

Its in the morning, so have just asked work for a really early lunchbreak! There has been a few questions asked but I have just told them its personal. Its weird, I didnt think I would be embarrased, even ashamed of be BR, but I have told no one apart from my OH, not my family or friends. It still doesnt feel real, and that I have no debts!

I dont think I will sleep tonight!

Firstly I'm sure it will be ok. Not had mine yet it booked for 23rd September.

Make yourself a nice hot choccy and a lovely bubble bath. Then try and relax, yeah I know easier said than done. I was like that night before court.

Will be thinking of you, remember like a friend told me the OR can't give you all your debts back. The judge said that when they signed your forms.

Good Luck, I am currently thinking of going BR. How much hassle is it to do, or is it fairly easy??

  • well...

    Heres how it went.

It took about an hour and a half! It was okay though. Lots of questions about the LONG list of my creditors etc what I spend it on etc.

Then the SOA, she was quite generous and didnt lower my figures for anything, and isnt going to give me that IPA. She also said I should be discharged in about 12 months or sooner.

She also said I may still have to pay back tax credit overpayments as it is a grey area and up to them really.

She then said i must notify of any changes, but not to worry about this month as I am starting a new job to just send in details when I know my exact pay. I shouldnt hear from them unless there are any questions.

I thought she would be be funny about the insurance pay out, but she just asked me where it went.

Now the countdown begins for 12 months.

Thankyou for all your support. x
