PPI Reclaim company

can anyone recommend a company to do the reclaim on the PPI? I don't want to get ripped off a second time, and just had to settle £13,000 extra on a loan to clear the PPI.

If you join the "PPI reclaiming discussion" thread then someone could help you to do this yourself. When was the loan and who was it with??? You have really no need to go to a company most of the time. Join the thread at the top of the loans page.;)

Edit, i can see you joined back in July and Tiggrae told you a few things then. Maybe you need a little more help.

We got a £30,000 loan in September 2006 from Paragon. We repaid £350(ish) a month, and when we settled last week we had to pay over £43,000 including £10,500 for the PPI.

To say I'm spitting feathers is an understatement.

What do I do now! I had to settle to re-mortgage....

You come and join us on the PPI reclaiming discussion thread and from there you send a letter to them for the misselling (if that is what you are claiming) and wait for their response. Then you send letter number two if its not what you want and then after that if its still not what you want you then take this complaint to the FOS for them to get the amount back for you. This loan and PPI was taken out after 2005 when the FSA put rules about the sales of insurance and if you are missold then you can reclaim the PPI back and the FOS will (If you win - and remember that MOST claims for sales made after January, 2005 are upheld by the FOS for single premium policies) get you put back into the position you would have been in had you not had the PPI at all and add interest at 8% per annum.

All is not lost yet, believe me.
