What to do post Bankruptcy?

Hi,
I was discharged from my Bankruptcy in Feb 2007 (only found out a couple weeks ago though, I was under the impression it didnt end till I finished paying the 3 years of payment, DOH!!)
What I would like to know is what I should be doing now to clean up my credit file?
I'm going to send a copy of the dischange letter i have now got from the OR to Equfax and Experian, but is there anything else I can/should do to make my credit file look a little less bad.
Also any tips on how to build up a healthy credit file would be handy, i've no intention of getting into more debt, but I would liek the option of a Mortgage somewhere down the line, and a proper bank account.
Thanks
Kam

Credit file cleanup details here

Hmm the only thing really to help credit files is doing the cleanup above & time i'm afraid...most banks will struggle to offer you a full account while the BR stays on your credit files for 6yrs.....mortgages are available to discharged bankrupts although at a higher rate than usual you would have to try & shop around really although with the current state of the country's finances it should be fun
Hope that helps a bitWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
