black marker pen marks on pink carpet

hi there i wonder if anyone can help.
my lovely 5 year old has got black pen marks on her bright pink carpet. Of course, its right in the middle of the carpet, so everyone can see!
It has been on for a while now, was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for me to remove these marks.
any help most appreciated.
