emmm, something strange going on on .com.

I put in my basket a sarong reduced to £2 and in the basket it says £1.20 due to a 10% reduction for being a member of the health club. (original price is £8 so checkout took 10% of the orignal price from the reduced price) then I added 2 tan maintainers at £10.00 each (BOGOF). Checkout now says total due £9.20 so it looks like it has taken off 10% from the price of the sun stuff as well, again mentioning the health club.

Didn't know summer stuff was part of the health club:confused:
If you're over 60, you get 10% off all Boots' own ranges. No7 is Boots' own range, so you will get 10% off that t0o.

So: you got 80p off the sarong since the original price was £8.
You got £1 off each of the tan maintainers, as each one was £10 before discounts.

    Total starting price: £2 sarong + 2 x £10 tan maintainers = £22 total
    Total discounts: £0.80 from sarong + 2 x £1 from tan maintainers + £10 from bogof = £12.80

    End price: £22 - £12.80 = £9.20

    Lucky you! :T

A very good morning's Bootsing for me today :D Before I [strike]bore you all senseless[/strike] thrill you all with my shops, I just wanted to say that the SA was absolutely lovely - helped me split all my shopping to gain maximum till spits and pinkies and couldn't have been more pleased for me at my bargains. So take heart fellow Bootsers - for every mean SA there's a lovely one too :D

    Shop 1
    2 x huggies wipes (bogof) £2.49
2 x Baby Expert bodywash £1.00 (used half price expert vch from PC)
No 7 wipes £1.50 (used pinkie)
Chewing gum 39p (to make up to over £5.00 ;) )
    Total: £5.38
    Saved £10.47
    Earned TS and pinkie

    Shop 2
3 x mitchum 45p (used 3 mitchum vchs, no problem at all)
    Hairclips £3.65
    Total £4.10
Saved £3.00.... but really £7.50 with the mitchum vchrs.
    Earned TS and pinkie

    Shop 3
MF Mascara £4.99 (used both MF vchrs, no problem)
    MF eye-liner GWP £0.00
    3 x sanc. charcoal masks £0.37 (used till-spit)
    Total £5.36
    Saved £15.99
    Earned TS and pinkie

    Shop 4
No 7 for men shave gel £1.50 (used pinkie)
    3 x mitchum 45p (used 3 mitchum vchs)
Time delay cleanser £0.00 (used tillspit)
    Total £1.95
    Saved £16.99 (inc. mitchum vchs)
    Earned TS and pinkie.

    Total spent: £16.79
    Total saved: £50.95
Points: 96 (not great but not so massively concerned with points right now, bit skint so saving money is more important!)

I took my friend with me for her first Bootsing lesson and she was amazed at the potential bargains to be had ;) While unattended though, she went to the No7 counter with her mitchum vouchers  All was okay though, the SA raised an eye-brow at them but friend said she just "smiled back gormlessly" :rotfl:

I seem to have been given a survey spit-thing with my last receipt.... it says to log onto .com to fill it in, which I will be doing in a minute. Like I said above, the SA was fab :D

    Couple of points:
I didn't receive the 500 pts for "spending" over £15 on max factor (as someone said on the previous thread).
I had ALL the colours of No7 Amazing Eyes eye-liner price checked and none of them were reduced  so not sure what that about yesterday (when I got one for £3.37).

Going to check out the new .com now...... SO glad it's back :D

ETA - this was all at Central 6 store, for the Coventry Bootsers :)
You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that :p

Exactly right broclo, but in Birmingham store 500 extra points as well for spending over £15. The till must see the cost of the eyeliner as well, brill

Have tried this twice once with pc voucher and once without and it didn't qualify for the 500 points.

I only spent £4 after the pinkie and skincare voucher today and still managed to get another set of vouchers, I wonder how that happened?!

"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".
