  • you are a gem mr buffy bat,not unlike my oh who is now starting to "enjoy" bootsing with me...........
he even did the ts glitch for me 3 times over, telling the sa,s it was for him(his hair is in the style of vin diesel)ie bald...the poor girls didnt know if they should laugh or not!
and yesterday he even managed to hunt down td wipes and got 5 packs for me and used the 200 points!!!
have to say most sa,s were nice except one who insisted reading the ts voucher upside down and back to front for about ten mins before she let me get the stuff, and then grunted something to me which i didnt understand.
also one last thing does any one else shake with nerves when doing a glitch??i was shaking like a jelly sunday when doing the suncare gwp thing and using till spit and pinkie...and i was on a ss till!!!!.[/quote]

Always!!! It really stresses me out, but you feel so great when you walk away with loads of goodies, points and for very little spend, hence the addiction to go back for more. I shake like a leaf, mouth goes dry, panic rises in the throat and my poor heart goes like the clappers!!! Its a wonder it hasnt clamped out this week, the amounts of transactions Ive done!!
im glad its not just me then!!!!! was beginning to think i was losing my marbles..lol..
and you are right it is a rush walking out of the shop with a big bag of goodies having spent very little.!!!

hey anic nice fine well done

can you tell me please where the small boots is on sauchiehall street please as you are the 2nd person to mention it and I didnt even realise there was another one apart from the one next to marks and sparks

It's along at Charing Cross, on Sauchiehall Street just around the corner from the Kings Theatre.

I popped in again today but unfortunately they didn't have any of the No.7 boxes left. I'll need to see what else I can find to spend my vouchers on.

Oh god yes :rotfl: I also have the unfortunate issue of nervous sweating to contend with :o (luckily I now have enough deodorant to last me until at least after Christmas :rotfl: ) The "high" once you've done it though - it's just fabulous :D And that's what keeps us all addicted ;)
You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that :p

Hi everyone, I'm a new addition to this thread. I've been reading it with much interest... heres my story so far...

So printed of some mitchem vouchers and the £3 huggies voucher and headed to glasgow fort. Got the nappies, wipes and a mitcheum, used the vouchers no prebs and got the two £5 vouchers. think made my first mistake here, If i'd spent another £1 could have done 2 transactions and got two lots of vouchers. They never had any mags or anything

Today (had to pick up the blasted kids yesterday, never had time to browse for my freebeies) went to boots braehead to spend my vouchers. Got a mens TD facial wash, and a mitchum but the sales lady never gave me another fre £5 voucher.

Them went to another till and got a no 7 suncream lip gloss (£5.75 used voucher) and she never gave me another lot of vouchers either!).

Is this normal? also, neither store had any health and beauty magazines, are they hiding them....

Also, incase it helps anyone asked about the no 7 mascara that is reduced, the sa said it was the lash extension one, but surprisingly they had none left.
  • Well thank you very much ladies for giving Mr BTVB such a welcome, I think he was chuffed to be welcomed so warmly :)

He is a bit disgruntled today because his cunning plan to boost his points with some JK nail files went out the window because there were none left, but I'll let him tell you all about that later :D

He did say still quite a few mags in Cambridge city centre.

Plus I forgot to mention that there are loads of Boots generic type water filter cartridges in the Cambridge Retail Park store, on the bottom shelves in the clearance section. But as I can't slap them on, clean my teeth with them, or make myself look preeeeeeetty with them, they didn't really register on my radar...

    Welcome Lynne! ;)

Unfortunately you only get the pinkies and tillspits after you've actually spent over £5........Mitchum vouchers and huggies vouchers count as money too as they are brand coupons but your other transactions you didn't spend any money......

Hope that kinda explains it! :rotfl:
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

The TD and No 7 wont count towards your spend. I cant explain why (IM sure someone else can) So you would have to make it up to £5 and then use brand vouchers if you were hoping to get the price down.

Hello everybody:hello: I'm new on here and this is my first post! I've been lurking for a week or so and did my first lot of Boots shops at the weekend in Peterborough and ended up with £65 worth for £6.73 and 600 points. OH was v.impressed - this is not easy!! Am now addicted and today have been to all 3 Boots in Cambridge. Wombled - I think this is a fab name for it - a No.7 at the SS tills and then found No.7 Summer Eye and bronzing palette in the reduced bit:j and a Johnsons baby body lotion fo £0.10p. Bought my lunch and 2 mitchums and got 2 more spits. They had a few mags left but not many. Pulled out the vouchers from the mag and went to the Grafton centre got the TS serum and used the skincare for some TD paid 1p + 200 points. Then went back to city centre branch and did TS again + a mitchum and found Ted Baker Ltd Ed Body Lotion for £1.25 and Body Spray for £1.13 so bought 2 of each and got 2 more spits. Finally, went to retail park branch and did another TS a TD toner + 200 points and found a No.7 Glisten Gloss pencil in the reduced bit - used No.7 till spit and a reduced mini relax kit for £1.19.

But they had sold out of all the lovely TB bags and I really wanted one:( They had them in Peterborough but at full price. The shelf edge tickets were there in Cambridge retail park but no bags.

Anyway sorry for the long post but I'm excited:j Did I do well on my shops?:j .
