Hey Ikkle Pickle :rotfl: Sorry couldnt resist I hear this is your new name :D

Guess what I managed to get for you today :D

Picked up 2 of the no17 gwp for you and luckily there was a different sa on. He did notice that they went through for zero and nearly didnt give them to me but there was a queue building and he said ok just have them :D

So pm me your details and I will get them into the post to you. Shouldnt cost a lot as they are quite light.

So pleased I managed to get them for you.

EDIT: Sorry took this from last board thought it might help some1

    Morning all

well i finally made a trip to boots yesterday after about a month of being away and I had a fab shop i think

TS LH shampoo - used H&B coupon
TS LH conditioner - used PC voucher so 0.00 for both items + -£1.98 as its on 2 for £7
    4 x Lynx 3 set - £8
    3 x Elle toned massage thingies - £1.49 each
    3 x sanc Kyphi oil balm thing - £1.24 each (no 3 4 2)
    cotton wool balls 49p
    2 x paracetamol 16p

    Paid £15.02 saved £22.92

So managed to get a couple of bits for xmas hampers for my sisters.

This was in Oxford city centre. They have dead sea sets reduced to £3 and £4.50 i would of got some but i didnt fancy and didnt think my friends and family wanted to smell of ginger biscuits!! elle stuff ruduced, loads of those sanc items left too with teh lavender and damask rose sets reduced.

Also tried to get the R&M eye pallette with pinkie to pay £1 and the till beeped. Was asked to pay at No7 counter but they r evil to me lol so went to pay at perfume and the SA said oh i'm sorry we can't do this anymore. They had a massive meeting saying they were not to accept it as its already 1/2 price. Tills have been set to not accept it as well. Not sure if all stores have had this but boots have cottoned on and stopped it. My OH's sis was lucky she got it monday from the looks of things. (oh if ur lucky to find a SA who will override the till for it theres loads in the drawer of the R&M stand)

    HTH some1

Hi All - went into Tunbridge Wells and had myself the old MF gwp with bronzer etc all lined up with other bits and bobs. Paid at pharmacy counter and all was going well - it scanned as free, when the SA said to me "shouldn't this have been free with something?" and took it away from my shop:eek: :eek:
I said "Ooh, I thought it was something you had to buy and my eyesight isn't very good, so I didn't reaslise":o :o:o .........LOL
Anyone have one they'd be kind enough to swap for Pinky or skincare voucher pretty, pretty. please?.
It would so help me get over my first proper Bootsing experience. As it was, I came over all hot and bothered - thought I was having a hot flush!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way, still plenty of mags in this store.
    Neffy xx

Thanks MC, lol is that my new name now lol.

Scarlett I was just thinking that.

Oh and I knew I had something to say: today I got a ts hair wrap and brunette glosser, used mag coupon and paid £1.01 but I got 12 points. My nan did same and again got 12 points, anyone know why? x

Edit: none of my other shops got triple points just the ts.

Same thing happened to me today when I spent 1.01 on TS - got 12 points, have no idea why....

can i say a big thanks to the poster who gave us the heads up on the huggies newborn kits being on BOGOF, I got 2 today for £5 less the £1.50 off voucher... so thanks! as i missed them going thru at £2.50 and was gutted, i can finally start the nappy cake!!!!!!!!!!!!! woohoo!!! BUT.. tho I spent "" £5 i only got the skincare voucher, thats why i am wanting the no7 ones!! i did ask and was told that they had run out!??!?! i asked if i got an IOU and she just laughed... now would you, if it had happened to you, email or ring cs and tell them this .. it seems a little unfair that they advertise an offer and dont keep their end of it .. i had other things in my basket ready to "spend" the vouchers!!! advise please fellow bootsers!

    Hi Pash,

Could you please tell me what you get in the Huggies newborn kits, and does the SEL say that they are BOGOF?

    Many thanks

Do we get a till spit with the TS glitch???
Just trying to work out my transactions!

No, this doesn't happen when you're only spending 1p or 1.01p etc on the two TS items as the till sees the actual cash not the original cost. Does that make sense? I usually add them in with some other things to bring the spend to 5.00 or over and get the tillspit & No7 pinkie. Hope that helps.
  • I have a couple of Model Me and Toni & Guy vouchers if anyone wants them and has anything else I could use in return it would be great....
Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p
