  • Big thank you Scarlett!! ;) I took your advice and when to the store, spoke to manager, who rang finance deptment, who said that the till was over by £8.86...so manager took the money out the till and gave me my change back!!! Hurrah!! I then promptly spent it on some olay, dove body wash, cotton wool pads, TS x 2 and no7 gloves and nail buffer!!! :j

You guys are fantastic, I probably wouldn't have bothered to go the store before I met you lot - but you all give me the confidence to be a little more cheeky ;)

Hurrah, that's fantastic :T So pleased for you :D

Pleased for you Mrs BlueBear, though not read much back on posts! Its your money, and you will be working very hard for it soon, so you are entitled to it back correctly!

Saying that I nearly got overcharged in Sainsbury's yesterday, SA noticed and voided the incorrect amount while I was still at checkout, but I don't check my receipts, now thinking I better had before I leave store! Also they gave me the Bucket List DVD case with Spitteri CD inside it! I never checked, sent to FIL for Birthday present at beginning August and he only told me last WEEK! that it was wrong!

this will teach me to check things properly.

Talking about checking, when I was in Boots in Harrow on Saturday, noticed all SA's are checking vouchers against each product purchased now, so they ask for my vouchers first and then match against items being scanned before putting through. Has anyone else had this? SA wouldn't let me use pinkie against R&M I liner brushes, there was a queue behind me so didn't bother asking her to try it. Left the brushes, and she looked very put out that I didn't want them, if I couldn't use pinky. But that is why I was getting them!

Good shopping today with my dd. She is getting good at going to tills for me. Training her up for when she leaves home in 4 years time!

Got 3 x ts glitch buying lh serum and moulding mud and straightening spray. I nearly missed the serum but dd spotted it in with the minatures! Good girl
    Also got 2 x td wipes and 4 x No 7 lip/eye screen 1/2 price and bogof.
And best of all got the gold ted baker vanity bag reduced from £20 to £5.
S.a was very impressed at separate purchases. Really happy for me!
Total value of goods = £75.42
    Total actual spend = £5.79
    Saving £69.63
    Points earned: 444

Am so pleased with the bag. They had stocked up today in Boots town centre Ashford with the bags, but I only bought one!

Ted Baker bags reduced in Harrow too, at back of shop next to Photography department. Think I have enough, so didn't bother.

I got my Sun Vouchers when we returned on Friday, and promptly went shopping on Saturday and used as many as I could. I thought most were ok, some were a bit of a cheek, like the teeth whitening expert for £23? I'm not paying that, but got my BOGOF and face wipes, kept going around different tills so that I could get over £5 spend and get pinky and £5 facial voucher. Then would go back with my TD product, coupon and Sun vouchers.

Would have liked more time on them, as I had from Newcastle BOGOF on face wipes, half price on face wipes vouchers from ACM and wanted to see if Barcodes same and if could get glitch. But didn't have time to find my ACM vouchers and knew wouldn't be back in town on Sunday.

Never mind, I got some bargains. But will teach us not to get to excited about these sort of vouchers again.
