does anyone know how much the no7 liplicious lip gloss is .....the one with the voucher in the mag?

I bought one today and the original price was £9.25

Used the No7 voucher to take £5 off so £4.25 and gained 350 points - 250 points voucher from the current gwp, and 100 points using the magazine voucher.

So using my Boots logic, it only cost 75p :rotfl:

Thanks to whoever posted about this. I remember it being mentioned but can't find who posted it - sorry :o

  • Quick question for the Bootser who mentioned having a sneak preview of the No7 Christmas stuff (sorry it's late and I'm obviously being thick as I can't find the post now to quote it)

You mentioned some eye sets similar to last year's - are you referring to the Eye Jewel sets? The paint box palette type sets with four shades of loose eyeshadow powder - I do hope so as I loved these :)

my ds doesnt know in the night garden but whats wrong with it anyway broclo

I'm sure it is just me as I only let DS watch babytv for max of 20 mins a day when doing the 'dangerous' part of dishing up/chopping etc for his dinner, if I really can not distract him with toys. It is the only solution being a single mum really at times! I'm a bit old fashioned and do not want his brain filled with rubbish until he knows other children do etc

However, I just think that In the Night garden is terrible as you get children over 2 watching it and the characters 'babble' like babies and I just think if children watch tv there are much better options like 'something special' etc where the lack of language is backed up by signing.

I dunno, i'm so strict anyway...probably just me being a boring fart :rotfl:

I don't usually post my shops, but thought I did quite well today:

    Transaction 1:
    3 x brown socks (3 pairs), £3 each, on 3for2

Used: 100 points on Boots on hosiery.
Paid: £6, Received: 124 points, facial skincare voucher, pink No7 voucher

    Transaction 2:
Botanics body scrub (was £4.49, but 1/3rd off botanics) £2.99
Boots expert anti-blemish gel (was 3.99, but 1/3rd off expert) £2.65
Boots expert silky mitt (Was £1.29, but 1/3rd off expert) £0.85
    Mitchum £1.65
    Flock-lined gloves £1.69
    Kleenex tissues 49p

Used: 20% off botanics body (Sun voucher) :-90p; Free anti-blemish gel wyb any other expert product (Sun voucher): -£3.00; Michum 50%: -£1.50
Paid: £3.93, Received: 24 points, facial skincare voucher, pink No7 voucher

    Transaction 3:
Biore nose pore strips (was £7.99, but 1/3rd off Biore) £5.32
    TS long hair serum
    TS blonde glosser
    TD cleansing cream
    Palmolive Cashmere body scrub £3.49
    Elle hand scrub £1.49

Used: £1 off Palmolive Cashmere scrub (Sun voucher), 200 points TD (mag), facial skincare voucher, TS long hair free (mag), TS long hair 50% off (Sun voucher)
Paid: £5.81, Received: 248 points, facial skincare voucher, pink No7 voucher

I messed up the second transaction because I didn't realise the coupon would take £3.99 off, and had only expected £2.49 off. I had to grab the tissues to make it up over £5 to get my vouchers. Then realised that because the SA had walked off with the coupons before I paid and I had to wait 10 minutes for her to come back and let me know that I could use them (AFTER they had gone through the till just fine!), I forgot to put my advantage card in! They added the 24 points from the shop, but of course I didn't get my washing up gloves half price :(

In total, though, for £15.74 cash, I got a lot of nice things that I'll use (socks and pore strips and scrubs) as well as 396 points back and another 3 of each voucher!

Im not sure about in the night garden as I personally have not watched it but my bros wee girls loves it. Jack is more into doodlebops as he loves the music and sits in his bouncer chair bouncing along to the music :D this is real handy when popping in for a shower when you need to wash your hair :D

Sorry to quote myself, but don't know if my post got missed, i would really like to know what peeps thing, as i really want to go to boots there tomorrow, but don't know if i should stay away for a while. tis

For what it's worth I'd just walk straight back in as if nothing's happened, the sooner the better, and do your shopping as normal. It's only since reading this that I've found out 'wombling' isn't allowed  and I'm sure if I hadn't have read about it here, and spotted any vouchers that had been left, I'd have been tempted too. (Not likely to happen where I shop though - haven't ever seen any left at the tills lol).

There's no point in beating yourself up about it - people make mistakes all the time and in the scheme of things it all seems minor imho.

Good luck all the same x

  • Can i be a bit of a pest and ask if one of you lovely peeps out there can print me some 50% Mitchum vouchers off and send me them?
I have tried every single way of trying these vouchers and NONE of them scan, i am now putting it down to my printer as it is old (Epson Stylus 440).
Would of course send a SAE along with some mag vouchers if anyone cant get hold of any...
    Pleasssssssssse x
