Hi I didn't know Colchester had a new store, don't go shopping there much but do you mean the one in Lion Walk opposite the Body Shop? or is there another one I have missed!

There is another one! Only recently opened; at the old McDonald's drive thru at Stanway (Tollgate retail park) - they have kept the drive thru faciities for the pharmacy! :rotfl: (mcdonalds have moved to the block nearer to Iceland)

And as of last week they were still doing £3 off when you spend £15, don't know how long that offer will last though. :)

I think he or she is doing a public service for the Bootsingly-challenged, no matter who gets the credit, lol. It's hard to imagine *not* knowing about working the deals, but I remember my pre-bootsing days when I would throw out till spits.

ahhh but the more people that know.. the less bargains for us  :p :rotfl: lol
I have been reading in here that some bootsers have been telling the sa's how to do the glitches   :rotfl: whats all that about then! i was mearly pointing out (in the original post) that what appears to be a lurker is preaching "how to get deals in Boots" (no offence meant to anyone... posting or lurking lol):o

I've tried this and wasn't impressed with it either. You only need to use the smallest amount you can - spray it quite far away from your hair, so you get a very fine mist.

The very best straightening spray I've used (and have been using it for years now) is the Lee Stafford "poker straight" spray, this one: http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=8799&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051 it is fantastic :D Annoyingly though, hasn't been on any sort of offer for ages...... but a bottle will still last me about 6-8 weeks and that's using it at least 4-5 days a week.

    HTH :)

What does this stuff actually do? is it a heat protection spray or does it actually make your hair straighter somehow? what does it feel like on the hair, is it sticky at all? sorry for all the questions! :o
;) One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you! ;)
  • Does anyone want to swap a free trevor sorbie conditioner voucher for a skincare spit? :) Need to receive it by tuesday though as its the only day ill have for bootsing! (couldnt get there today and have wasted my sun vouchers, boo!)

    Hello
Yesterday i went for a day trip to Scarbo', on the way there we got stuck in traffic, and all i could think of was' Boots will be closed when we fianlly arrive'...how sad am i?..
Anyways, i did manage to get to Boots,...
I got a stripey TB bag for £3.75, 2 Lynx sets 2 for £4, a time delay mens facial scrub and best of all a dora the explorer play doh set(reduced to £3 from £6).
I handed in mt 200 pts for the time delay and the SA refused, saying it wasnt the proper TD?..i was flustered, so said silly me, my mistake.
Was it my mistake?..is the 200 pts not on mens TD?
Thank you for any advice you have, as i have this voucher and want to get it added to my card tomorrow.
    X

The voucher clearly states ANY time delay prouct, and that does include mens.

I went to same store yesterday. I got a free time delay mens item using the skincare voucher AND 200 points.

The offers do state not to be used with another offer though. Therefore, i gave them my clubcard first, then the product, then the 200 points coupon, before pulling the £5 voucher from my pocket so they do not realise straight awat that i am using 2 vouchers on the same product.
