Headed down to Worthing where they had mags so sent OH and DD in separately to get their mags and was able to get the TS 1p glitch :j and a few bits on clearance - damask rose gift collection £2.50 down from £10 and a french lavender miniature collection for £1.19
Shoulld have seen the look on the SA's face when the total dropped to
£3.70 from £10.69 :rotfl:


Called in to see my parents and my loving mum managed to spill beetroot juice down my cream trousers :rolleyes: now got to find a way to remove that!
She's standing there holding the open jar of beetroot towards me while she's watching my niece do something, I'm saying Mum, stop tilting the jar, its coming out..... and she does a slow double take and then tells me I mustn't have been watching what I was doing! :eek: :mad:

Try soaking them in a solution of Stardops and cool water (bucket/basin of water and a good couple of cupfulls of Stardrops) for about an hour then wash as normal *** This worked on my daughter's white jeans when she spilt neat blackcurrant squash on them.

(*** disclaimer - not promising this will definitely work, but it sounds like they're ruined anyway, so worth a try?)

Re the No7 Glossy Locks - does anyone else find this a bit er.......... pointless? I'm not quite sure what I'm supposed to do with it and what benefits it actually has. I've been using a spray of it after my hair is 'done' but can't say I'm noticing anything in particular on my hair Am I doing something wrong with it?

I think its supposed to protect your hair in the sun, especially the strong sun if you were going abroad, I think it has a sun factor in it. I have also used it on my friends daughters hair, both girls have got beautiful long curls, but cant get a comb through it, and I found when I sprayed this on the hair, it helped get a comb through smoothly without yanking their hair from their scalps!

Think there is a new one in Stanway with drive thru pharmacy!! Not been there yet. Went to Lion Walk one yesterday and, as well as vouchers I received, some kind person had left 3 in their basket so got another 3 handcreams free!!:rotfl: :T

I was sirprised to get them to be honest, as Im not due a parenting mag for a couple months yet, I think I will get one sent when my little one is one in december, they must just have sent some extra coupons out to some people to tide us over??

Went to Brighton and did a 'lil shop yesterday. Loads of JK nail files (bought 6 - 2 in one transaction and 4 in another, got the 1000 pts in the second transaction so doesn't look like the '2 or more products' thing had kicked in?)

Lots of mags by the counter so picked up a couple, not much TD under a fiver but I didn't really get chance to look around for long as had two DD's with me and they were getting fed up !!! :rolleyes:

Did see a lovely TBaker hat box set (3 boxes, all different sizes, pink and black colour (I think, can't remember ! lol) with some nail files etc in), had it price checked and it was £20 but I was VERY tempted - not seen it before and can't find it on website or any where else for that matter ! I did fish it out of a box that was on the floor - thought it might have been a reduction but no such luck ! lol - in hindsight I do wish I'd have got it now as it was so nice ! :mad:

Couldn't find reduced section but had loads of SEL's with reduced bits and bobs (damask rose etc).

Mitchum vouchers were taken ok.

Pinky No7 wise, they are coming out of the till (i.e. spit) instead of the paper pink voucher. I've still got some pinkys and now got a couple of spits too so hopefully will be able to use them both at the same time !

Ted Baker bags (green ones) were all full price ! Did have the cosmetics purse reduced but none of the other sizes were - bit of a bummer as I really wanted the large bag ! Think i'm going to miss out on this one

Oh, did a quick take on the perfume counter but not much reduced there either. Maybe I didn't look close enough !

They had the summer bronzing one in the red and black bag, they had the ones in red/pink box and the No17 was the bronzer and brush one.
