Something to stop salesmen!!

Hi all
Anyone know of something ie sticker or something I can print off to stop salesmen knocking my door! Im fed up with people trying to sell me gas/electricity/windows etc etc :mad: and they always knock when im in middle of cooking dinner!!

I have tried to tell the postman with a note on the letterbox to stop sending me junk thru the door, and even tried to tell him to pop things round the back door if we dont answer because we are in, prob just still in bed (lol), but no, he ignores our plea's.. I usually dont answer the door and instead open the living room window and say in most annoyed voice, "yes, what do you want?" and then when they tell you I say "oh go away" they usually go away with ther tails between their legs

Problem is I can't see my front door from a window- if doorbell rings i have no option but to answer it! Just thought if i had something official ie a sticker on door they wouldn't ring the bell!!

oh..... i'm not much use am i lol..... perhaps i could come and camp out and tell them to do one for you!!! thats it, out of ideas!!

I'd go for the first one, followed by "can't you f***ing read, I'm calling the law" if they do knock..

Better still...just employ a sniper to sit on your roof and pick them off as they walk towards the door!

If you pop along to your local police station they should keep stocks of these type of stickers. Failing that PM me your address and I will put some in the post to you.

I know this sounds stupid but disconnect your doorbell Tell everyone who matters tell to knock the door so you don't miss important calls. We have done this for years now and its surprising but true that we have never missed anything important. The paperman and milkman know to knock as friends and family. Infact my husband reconnected it once and the doorbell rang.......and it was salesmen.
