Hi! I don't know whether they still do it, but when I signed up for my free flush saver with Yorkshire Water, they sent me a packet of marigold seeds too http://www.yorkshirewater.com/doonething/index.aspx

you could try the gardening section on this website there might be someone in your area that can help you out with tips or cuttings ets to get you started
