To answer your question - it really depends on the demands you want to place upon it ie the distances involved / sockets and wether it needs to act as an extension of your remote control as well - which the better ones will do etc. Make sure it has the right socket and leads for connection to your TV (eg scart socket or RF)

There are so many variables however many people have had success with the Phillips brand. Why not try the one you have spotted and then take it back if they assure you of a no quibble refund. Better still do as I did and try the the ones in Argos (fantastic returns policy) and return all but the one which works best.
