A DMP is an arrangement whereby you come to an agreement with your creditors about how much you can pay to them until you have repaid the debt (often, but not always, creditors will freeze interest) when your circumstances change you renegotiate and in any event generally will have an annual review. You pay no fees for one of these guys to run a dmp for you http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/loans/debt-help-plan#help or to run it yourself
An IVA? well it is this:

Sealed Pot #389 (2010=£133)0
