If you win the million, you get a visit on the last day of the previous month, so the draw must take place on the penultimate day of the previous month at the latest.

    Absolutely correct! :T

The numbers are generated on the last working day of the month and then matched to bond numbers form the top down, the 2 Million prizes are matched straight away, the rest on the first working days in the new month.

You should probably leave your holding in until 3rd working day to make sure you are eligible for any potential prize!

On the cashing in form there should be a box to tick saying something along the lines of keeping the bonds in situ until after the next draw.

This is correct. See the cash in form. (Part 4 - do you want to defer the payment until after the next monthly draw?)

  • I have £30,000 in premium bonds, been in there for about 8yrs now. I get about £50 month,if I'm lucky, the most I've won is £150. every year I get 10 x £50 and that all. PUT YOUR MONEY IN A HIGH INTREST ACCOUNT

So it has taken you 8 years to learn this lesson? I you had the same amount in a high interest account paying say 5%, with interest reinvested and 20% tax you would have about £41k by now.
