Hi Purpleems - was just having a wee lurk at your new diary and noticed on your SOA that you say you spend £10 a month on clothes, £0 on hair cuts, £0 on presents etc....this might be where your surplus is going without you realising! My spending diary has thrown up all sorts of things I never would have thought to include or had conveniently forgotten about!
Good luck with it - it's strangely addictive after a while!0 -
Hi there,
Just wanted to say that you have described my OH, he was in debt, it rubbed off on me and now I'm trying to get us out of this rut!
This website is brilliant - if I hadnt come on here I wouldnt have known anything about 0% balance transfer card (which are brill btw!) and by using these OH has managed to pay £1k in 6 months and he has a debt free date of 1 year
I would recommend looking at 0% balance transfer cards to stop any interest being charged to your current debts and like the others said - keep a diary its a real eye opener!
