I love the advent comps, going to miss them this year as we are on holiday the first two weeks of december.

Why am I still awake at this time?

  • Just popped in to have a look, reading about the ivf and fertility treatments.

Good luck to you all, i am recovering from an op at the mo, i have had to have one of my ovaries removed and other stuff. Doc says i should have no prob conceiving when the time is right.
I am hoping everything starts working properly again and that is the case.
I thank my lucky stars everyday it wasn't any worse.

There was trouble getting me and my bro so at least we know we are v much wanted, my mum went through all those probs many years ago

Good luck and much fun making mse babies.(comping fairy should def give out some cash wins for that)

I'm getting there 68 pages to go, and I started from the back on Monday...
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx

  • Good Morning everyone!

I do get myself all confused when I see posts from Yorkshirepud what with me being yorksherpud an all.....mind you not difficult to get me confused!

I did miss the forum yesterday but on the other hand I did get quite a bit done for my Christmas Market stall.

Hope everyone on ivf / fertility is successful. If you need an extra boost I could bottle you some of our water, all my neighbours are pregnant at the minute, so I'm sure it must be the water, hence I'm sticking to drinking Baileys!

Right now off to get a bit of comping done!

    Morning everyone,

I know I never been in here before:o But I need a strong coffee, I had a poop sleep last night and the Saturday from hell.

    Long story short....

DS1 who is 6 starts back to school on Monday so we decided to take him and DS2 (4) camping for a night to mark the end of the summer holidays...
Anyways we all had a great time and as we were packing up the tent my 2 boys were playing near a tree behind our cars, DS2 starts screaming saying come quick there has been an accident so I dropped everything and went over....DS1 laying on the ground with his hands over his face...tshirt soaked in blood and blood running down between his fingers.
He had slipped on mud and fell onto a sharp rock which went right into his forehead. End result....hubby spending 6 hrs in A&E with DS1. He got 5 stitches but OH says he was very brave and didn't cry.

But he didn't sleep great last night and his forehead is so swollen it looks sooo painful. But bless him he said....mummy I am never going camping again in my life:rotfl:

Sorry for the long post.......where is my coffee????:p

  • Morning Shellybee, hope your son is ok. I think we have been to the A&E department at every place we have visited with my son. That's part of the problem with kids that go at 100mph!

    Thanks everyone.

    Oooohhh coffee... toomanykids.

He isn't allowed to go back to school until Wednesday at the earliest and then stitches out in 10days. Wednesday suits me fine because my DS2 starts big school that day.....I haven't even tried on his uniform because I know I will be in tears:rotfl:

I just told DS1 I was telling all my comping friends about his head and he asked could I take a photo of his stitches later when I change his dressing....he wants to show you all, so be warned later:p
