Virgin Media - Default - Advice PLease !
whoops
Hi there, I am a newbiew but thought this a good place to get some advice - been on maternity leave got myself into a little trouble and wanted a bit of advice.
I arranged a payment plan with Virgin Media back in July of £66 a month following on froma default notice - i agreed this and paid the amount the 29th July, rang up today to pay second installment and told account was terminated the 24 th july and was wrongly misinformed - default should be going on my fiule within the month.
Wjat I am asking is..... how possible is it to get companies to remove wrongly placed default (as i am hoping an investoigation will prove this)
any replies welcome!

Why would they want to remove it ? It gives them a extra option , I take it you are on reduced payments ? They find dealing with accounts on payment plans a pain , so they pass them on to a collection agency . Have they said they have passed it to a DCA ? You need written confirmation . Do not give any information to a DCA until you have proof they are legally entitled to act on the account .And NEVER SPECK TO THEM ! Letters only .0
