I saw them in Homebase yesterday!
they were philips and on a seperate stand to the main shelves where all the others were - i bought a load as they are meant to last 7/8 years and cut your electricity by loads normally they are £3/£4
don't know if this was an error but def worth checking out

If you put one of these in the rooms that you use most, they will save you about £10 per year for a 18w replaceing a 75 lamp. More if you replace a 100w lamp.

I received a letter this morning from EDF, they are giving away 4 x energy saving light bulbs if you send back the claim form... can't see a catch...
P.S - Anyone else having problems with energy light bulbs and dimmer light switches? (flickers badly so I changed it again)Smile more often, it's FREE :hello: Live on £4000 for a year stalker!

There are very few energy saving lamps that you can use with dimmer switches. You need to put them into lights that you do not dim.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
