Energy Saving Lightbulbs 45p!!!

I saw them in Homebase yesterday!

they were philips and on a seperate stand to the main shelves where all the others were - i bought a load as they are meant to last 7/8 years and cut your electricity by loads normally they are £3/£4

don't know if this was an error but def worth checking out

    If you put one of these in the rooms that you use most, they will save you about £10 per year for a 18w replaceing a 75 lamp. More if you replace a 100w lamp.

    Off to find my local homebase.

    I know that they were 3 for a £1 in morrisons the other day as I brought 3 myself. Dont know if the offer is still on mind

    I received a letter this morning from EDF, they are giving away 4 x energy saving light bulbs if you send back the claim form... can't see a catch...

    P.S - Anyone else having problems with energy light bulbs and dimmer light switches? (flickers badly so I changed it again)

    There are very few energy saving lamps that you can use with dimmer switches. You need to put them into lights that you do not dim.
