IVA's and Northern Rock

I am in severe amounts of debt (about £40,000 of unsecured) and I seriously believe that an IVA is my only way forward.
I see from the IVA PDF that 75% of creditors need to agree to this but the majority of my debt (more than 75%) is held by Northern Rock.
Does anyone know if their uncertain financial status likely to affect decisions on whether or not an IVA would be agreed?
Yours hopefully
