I've invited triplets to tea. Just looked in freezer and nothing in. Gas hob has broken so can only use cooker or grill. Any suggestions will need to be either cold or can be microwaved or put in oven.

What about a sort of buffet, with sandwiches, cocktail sausages, sausage rolls pancakes etc? If you would prefer a proper meal you could do a pasta bake in the oven or something quick and simple like fish fingers and oven chips.

Picnic!
Sandwiches, chopped fruit on c0cktail sticks, cheese and hotdogs on sticks, raisins etc.
It's what I do when I've not been shopping and have to make something out of nothing in 4 seconds flat.
Edited to say: Sorry Pink, cross postedJust run, run and keep on running!0 -

Home made potato wedges and dips. Get the little one's involved with coating the potatoes (they can have serveral different ones 'herbs' 'sprinkling of paprika' 'cheesy' ones etch - lightly coat the potatoes in oil first. Bake in a fairly hot oven for 35-45 minutes) and make the dips with whatever is available ... philly cheese and plain yoghurt is a favourite here, but you could mash up a tin of tomatoes or some tinned beans. Plain wedges with salt and vinegar are also popular.Enjoying an MSE OS life0

few ideas:
- fish fingers
- value pizzas + extra cheese
- quorn sausages ( add little oil before grilling or baking)
- open a tin of sweetcorn and call it salad with carrot sticks and cucumber, pepper
- american diner theme: grilled burgers + oven chips, m-waved b.beans and milk shake
- lay a tablecloth on the floor and say it's an indoor picnic and serve (triple decker or cookie -cutter for fun! ) sandwiches with choice of fillings
- cup of tinned soup (heat in m-wave)
- tinned rice pud
- packet custard + sliced banana ( lovely heated in the m-wave !)
- broc
