Help me get over my Finest habit

Hi, I drink Cafe Direct as well and I actually emailed them asking for some vouchers or samples and they sent quite a few small bags of ground coffee and some tea bags!
Also, I love artichokes in a jar and agree their prices are scandalous! I also emailed Sacla and they sent me a voucher for a free jar.
Otherwise, I know you said there is no Lidl around but if you can get to an Aldi I would strongly recommend it as they sell good quality jars for only £1.19 compared to £2.50+ in Tesco's. They wont go off so its worth the bus trip. Actually Aldi is great for finer quality/ foodie ingredients - their arborio rice is great value too
Finally, after having been a Heinz girl for years I switched first to Branston beans after doing some work for them. They're great and I've never looked back. Therefore recently when I wanted ketchup and the Branston was on BOGOF I tried it and it is honestly just as good. I don;t think its necessarily cheaper all the time, but those kind of challenger brands are more likely to do offers
Hope all that helps and good luck!0
