When do we tell the OR??

As a lot of you are aware Toon_Dave and I met up a few months ago and have been a couple ever since
I have been discharged since March of this year however as Dave went BR in June he is still bankrupt. He had his OR interview by telephone on 27th June and although he was told that he would receive an IPA and Nil tax code he hasn't heard anything more.
Dave's tenancy ends at the beginning of October and he's moving in with me until we look for a place together after Christmas.
We haven't done the figures yet to work out whether his proposed IPA will go up or down but we are wondering when to tell the OR he has moved in, will it have to be within 21 days?
We'll probably also need some advice when the time comes regarding figures as we both did our I&E statements as single people and don't really know how to do the couple's contirbution bit
Also, my daughter is 16 does that mean we will claim for 3 adults?
Thanks Red & Dave

Hi Red,
In theory the OR should be notified within 21 days but who is going to check.
Dave probably hasn't heard anything yet cos there too busy.
As to the SOA Dave only needs to put down what he pays so what Im saying is play the game,as long as you are paying some of the household bills then thats fine, the OR will not need to know how much you a=earn.
Take Care see you soon.

Wait until dave actually moves in,wait 21 days, then write to the OR;) .When you get the new IPOQ through. You look at both wages. If for instance you earn half the amount dave earns then your contribution would be about a quarter of the household bills;) . Not sure about your daughter but would certainly try,as they say you dont get anywhere without trying. Anyway we can all elp you tweek that I&E for you:D

Thanks for the advice too, I did think it would probably be 21 days. We shall definitely be posting our I&E at the time for a little help

Hi Neko
I knew a few people definitely knew already and I assumed that word had spread. No we didn't meet at the last BSC meet.
We were preparing for the one on Saturday, Dave kindly offered me a lift (we live 6 miles apart). We started talking, decided we should meet up before the meet to 'break the ice' before the long drive down to the meet. That was 2 months ago and we've been together ever since.

Hi All.
Thought my ears were burning this afternoon!! Hope everyone is well and looking forward to the meet. As Red said we decided to break the ice and meet up first before driving and incase we didnt speak in the car. That was just after my OR interview and we've not been apart since.
Strange how life works out and how fate can bring you together even in adversity.
Love you Red and see you later sweetie.
