Hi there,
I would echo the comment about using your freezer much more. You could try making big batches of bolognese / mince, veg and gravy /chilli etc. It is cheaper (uses less gas and electricity, plus can be bulked out with oats, lentils, veg etc more) and means that you have an easy, healthy, home made 'ready meal' when you can't be bothered cooking.
If you have the storage space, buy non-perishable goods in bulk when they are on offer and keep them for when you need them.
