Spanish property purchase

Hi,

We need 65% mortgage to complete purchase on spanish apartment purchase which has been brought to completion stage four months earlier than expected.

Does anyone have any experience of any spanish mortgage brokers or any suggestions as to best way to raise money to complete?

just to let you know we completed a off plan apartment in costa del sol last year we got a 70% spanish mortgage based on its NEW VALUE and had surplus cash at the end of the deal we use europamortgages.com . if you go on to the web site and contact chris we found him to be very helpful . you can use the builder of the complex mortgage and you may find this to be cheaper but you wont be able to borrow more than your original purchase price. the best person to speak to will be your spanish lawyer and the should be able to give you advice depending on your circumstances.

you could also speak to an english broker, many have access to mortgages for foreign property through banks here and you could pay less in fees, fees in Spain seem to be really high in my experience but that jcould have changed.
