i have just tried and it seems to be one way only, buy the time you add the return flight then its the same as if you use the uk site of expedia . Will keep on trying tho !!

On the main site (that i linked to) where you type your destination in, at the bottom of there is a link which says 'more options...'. Click on that and make sure it's a return ticket. Also remember that as default the main site has 2 adults travelling selected so change that to 1 adult if you want the price of 1.

As for this being posted before, that was a month ago and in the travel resource bar and so didn't get much attention. But Kudos to you.
  • i really want to go to boston for thanksgiving - we do it every year but this year we choose Florida next month instead. But for 4 nights in boston it is coming up at £300 -including accomodation... I'm so tempted! I'll have to start shifting some more bits on ebay!
I miss using my infinite coupons at Tesco!
2010 was the worst year ever :(
But 2011 so far has been a lot of fun! :j

  • Nobody has posted that the flights are with NorthWest Airlines (NWA).
    Cheapest flights have a stop-over.
Having said that, AU$277 (£129) for LHR to LAX, all tax included is unbelievable. (out on 23/10, back on 27/10).

NWA are a partner airline of Air France and KLM. I am flying out with KLM and back with Air France.
    Gone ... or have I?

Not sure how you spotted a fellow MSE user! Los Angeles is much better than London (i'm "lucky" to have family in London so a trip is always free:money: )

    Enjoy your trip:D

Thank you (if they don't cancel it first)!

I found the MSEer on here before flying ... didn't manage to find him on the flight (probably hiding when he saw me knocking people over with my laptop bag :o )! x

The way I see it is that it's pretty risky.

If you book on the idea of getting a cheap flight and they demand the additional tax at the airport (which they are well within their rights to do) you will only have recourse under Australian law. A little difficult to enforce.....

the question is are they allowed to charge this tax at the airport?

does anybody know? Am tempted but dont want to book and then find tey charge the difference at the airport when at that late stage you really have no choice but to pay/:confused:
