Liz Earle alternative?

Is there anything comparable to the Cleanse and Polish that I've heard so much about, but don't fancy spending that amount on something that gets rinsed away down the washbasin after all.

Tesco have a "copy" in their BNatural range - there's quite a bit of discussion about it elsewhere on this board (just do a search for "Liz Earle" and you'll find it). It costs about £4, not including cloths, and the whole range is currently on 3 for 2. A lot of users on here have found that it irritates their skin, however.

We talk so much about Cleanse and Polish because we are getting great results.

For you to read what we say then think well I want those results but dont want to buy the product is a tad daft (iyswim no offence meant)

I have the tescos cleanser and although Im using it up when I cant be bothered with the OCM Im not liking it as much as Liz Earle - its drying my skin.

Try Liz Earle. But your first lot from QVC - if you dont like it or it dont suit you, send it back for a full refund. You have 30 days of use to make you mind up as to if its value for money or not

No offence taken Suki - but sometimes people do get similar results from an alternative inexpensive product. That's all I was asking about, as a MSE convert.

OP i have been using Tescos Bnatural for about a year now and love it.The fragrance and consistency are brilliant.Give it a go,its half the price of L.E. and even less now on 3for2.People have commented on how clear and healthy my skin looks,so it seems to be working for me.

    True ,very true :)

Have you looked at harryharps thread - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=843425

Loads of cheaper alternatives posted on there and then of course there is the OCM - see the link on the first page of that thread.

Other way round for me - there's something in the C&P that leaves my skin very sensitive, like it's been sunburned. Love the body wash though.

Somebody mentioned the Boots Time Delay cleansing balm on here somewhere - I thought I'd give that a go with the current skin voucher, as I used to use the Tesco Skin Wisdom one until they stopped making it and there's no way I'm paying Eve Lom prices.
  • Does anyone know if bnatural do any bigger that 50ml in their brighening cleanser??

Boots No7 have a new hot clothe cleanser out.
  • Quite a bit cheaper than LE too. Might give it a go.

  • Hello,

I use the no7 hot cloth cleanser and I find it really good.
I have normal to dry type skin. Its quite expensive so I only buy it with the £5 voucher. I find it as good as the cleanse and polish. But I also find sweet almond oil really good as well. I just massage it in a bit and then use the hot cloth to remove. Sometimes I add various essential oils to it, or just use it with nothing added.
I tried the Tescos vit e cleanser for 70p the other day and it felt like it was removing a layer of my skin. I will try the superdrug vit e and see what that is like.

I find the Time delay cleansing balm a bit too medicinal and it has parafin as its main ingredient and I don't find that it washes off that well.
