Irish moneysaving

I'm about to move to Galway - anyone know of an Irish alternative site or any Irish tips?

Thanks

    askaboutmoney.com but it's not great.

That said there are also alot fewer products and service providers available so it's easier to sort through everything yourself.
  • that's a great site - thanks for the quick reply

Try this site for advice etc. Its different but provides advice about budgeting in the South.

If you go over to the OS board, I'm pretty sure that meanmarie lives in the South - she does her grocery challenge in euros, not pounds - maybe you could ask her.

Living in ROI is not very moneysaving, ha ha!!

    Sorry, just my little joke.

Try www.thepropertypin.com, it's a nice contrast to askaboutmoney. Also www.boards.ie is good for general as well as money issues.

    Good luck.

I would have thought that as it's an expensive place to live, that would be even more reason for moneysaving.
