Good morning everybody :hello: :hello: :hello:

Well, the Bank Holiday is over - the weather is slightly better, as expected, although the weather forecast said it would feel 'warm in the sun' - trouble is there is no sun

So, as many of us wend our weary ways back to work - already dreaming of next summer - the temptation to spend, will be ever present. Just use this thread as your 'spend check' - post your spends - even tell us about pends that you avoided - no rules, as long as you remember Moozie's three little words:
'Keep it Low'
And have a great day, everyone

Quite pleased with a low spend weekend - paid for a friends lunch £10 for both of us and bought a round when out with family £10.49; otherwise necessary shopping only.

Today; should be a NSD. Going swimming from work and have lunch and dinner planned until Thursday lunchtime!

    Have a good day all.

  • £1.10 today on my bus fare into work and absolutely nothing else. Will be walking home tonight so hee-haw being spent by my later.

I took lunch into the canteen today - which we're entitled to do - and my colleagues didn't half make a big deal about it. "Is that all you're going to eat..............................no wonder you're miserable (I did at least shut him up when I said, "And a doctor did confirm that I've got clinical depression today")..............................are those the 8p yoghurts from ASDA....................................skint this month?............................."

Funny how some people just really want to draw attention to the smallest of things.
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

  • Aw thanks! I knew it was coming but have put it off - still, not ashamed to have people at work know about it. There's someone in work with a broken ankle at the moment, and I don't see depression as anything different. If they do, that's their prejudice.

  • Not a stitch for me hee hee
