Could someone please post the link to the letter to stop phone calls. My oh has 2 cards with Halifax, which do not seem connected as they both ring constantly. We are on DMP and have been since Oct 06. Despite having to spoken to them the end of last week repeating again this information. Oh has worked days over weekend and I have worked nights, they started ringing at 8.30 yesterday and woke me up at least 5 times and have already rung twice today. I NEED TO SLEEP! working again tonight.
Thanks for listening, hope someone can help xxxx

Hi just a suggestion could you turn the ringer off when you have to
get some sleep, or maybe if you are with bt could you ask them to
change your phone number.
Hope you manage to get some sleep.
Best wishes

I would also pull the phone connection or get caller number barring on your phone.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Halifax are being the same with me. Already had 2 calls from them this morning. I unplug my phone and put my mobile on silent. I too am on a DMP and Hellifax are being a total pain. They are one of my smallest creditors so I expect they are spending more money on phone calls than what I actually owe them!Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free

It's hard when you've got kids to turn everything off, even though they are safe at my friends/school still could be an emergency. Thanks for all your advice.
Just had a statement from them we pay £70 per month and they've added 137.20 off late charges and interest. I'm thinking it may be better to let them send it to a DCA, am I right in thinking they don't added int etc?Why didn't someone kick me up the backside earlier:mad:
