    Hi everyone,

    I just typed a long post and then it disappeared. I'm not sure where it went!
    Anyway, I crept into the daily chat yesterday when not many of you were around but am going to try hanging about a bit more if that's OK with you guys? Finally getting a grip and sorting out my finances. Today is meal planning/proper shopping day!

    In a bit of an odd mood today ... I mentioned on the thread yesterday that my best friend's fiance got shot in Afghanistan yesterday - he's OKish but in surgery today which is always a bit scary. Also feeling very sad generally - me and my boyfriend split up a week or so ago and I'm gutted. Really miss him and want him back.
    On the up side, I'm trying to feel more positive - getting back in control of my money, and hoping to come of my anti-depressants tomorrow which I've wanted to do for ages! Then, next week, it's time to start tackling the 3 stone I've put on since going on the damned tablets.

    ooh, that ended up being a long post again. I promise not to ramble quite so much in every post!

    You sound like you need a bit of support at the moment and you have definately come to the right place for that, you will find the DFW gang very friendly and a great bunch. I have made some wonderful friends here and no one ever judges.

    Hope your MIL is okay Louise, sympathies with the SIL.

    LilacPixie I am sure tidying up when you have a 6 week old baby is against The Rules :eek:

    I am TIRED today and DS is full of energy and seemingly in a destructive mood, using his highchair as a walking frame/battering ram into, well, anything... including me. Might go to the supermarket just to get him out of the house, too wet for the park. We need some fresh fruit anyway and I can get something for lunch I suppose.

    I might try some of the flylady list if I get an energy boost - maybe a coffee is what I need....
