Hi all - this is my first 'freebie' post and not of the sort that I intended - was hoping it would be some wonderful freebie for everybody but don't know know how else to post this message.

Am fairly new to the site and there a number of threads with a bit of a conflict of interest going on invovling new and old members. There are obvious misunderstandings and histories involved and they seem set to continue.

Could we all just say that whatever the thread, however high feelings are running, whatever the ins and outs and justifications can everybody draw a line under all the threads involved and just agree to agree not to carry any of it on however strongly they feel? and not to post any replies? It is the only way to start afresh and for everybody to enjoy the forum.

It is free to be nice, it is free to be respectful and we are all free to feel respected and to respect.

Sorry if this sounds like preaching from a newbie but this is a brilliant site and everybody should enjoy it. If some people still can not resist from continuing, could everybody else just not reply - the others will then not have anything to answer back to.

I'm sure we all have stuff going on in our private lives - this should be a pleasant break, come on - we're getting freebies and we all enjoy the same thing - fun and exciting!

Hopefully will have a physical freebie to contribute soon and thanks to all those posters that I have received a freebie from.

    Well said Pip...

The problem arises when people come and join the thread, and have not read ALL of it, then critise forum members, when they are genuinly trying to advise and help fellow members!

Some members just see half of a post.... Then condem, which is SO wrong.

No wonder that some are afraid to post!

Would you believe have at last found something to post - not brilliant ones and one is on the wrong page (should be with restaurants) but better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick as they say (well, as me mother used to say anyway!)

Think I have only just realised - does a little blue envelope to the right of the post mean it is a new one? This should save a lot of confusion once people realise.
