Mortgage Advise Please

My deal with Alliance and Leicester will run out at the end of October, if i dont take out a deal it will go onto a variable rate of 7%.

If i do that then say in 6 months they have a good offer available does anyone know if i can then take out a deal with them without doing a credit check?

At the moment i dont need to do a credit check to take out a new deal but was just worried that after the deal is up they may make you do another credit check and im not working at present.

Do you mean stay on the SVR of 7% for a few months and then take out a deal? If thats what you mean then as long as you don't borrow any more money they won't credit check you, it will be just be a change of product.

probably just do that because all the deals they are offering me just now have a 2% product fee adding £2000 to my mortgage which i really dont want to do and the rate arent that great to take out a new deal, hoping they may offer slightly better rates over the next 6 months.
