Really useful mapping website

this website shows 2 maps, a detailed ordnance survey map on the left and an aerial photo on the right. you can pan around and zoom in or out of both maps.

i use it to find public footpaths in my area when i want to take the dog somewhere new.
you can also find lots of interesting things you didn't know were near by, like caves, stone circles, castles etc.

you can also measure out a route so you know how far you've walked.

it's really useful and really easy to use, no need to download anything. and it's free, no need to register or anything like that. :D
