Sorry if i come across thick, but do you put the words 'father christmas' on the envelope, or is there a special post box around christmas time in the post office with the words 'father christmas' on?
You just write Father Christmas on it and put it in any post box.

basically the post office have staff especially for this and they expect kids to write to santa without there parents knowledge. so putting santa , father christmas rudolph anything christmas related on the the envelope normally gets to the santa department at royal mail.. its normally a postcard that comes back

Did this a few years ago when my older children were tiny, we just put Santa Claus, Lapland, and they each got a letter back.

Thanks for reminding me, will try it with my littlies today.

I used to do this year ago when 5 ( now 34 ), found it by sheer chance when I insisted to my mum that I had to post my letter to Santa. Have done it for my children & never yet put a stamp on.
