Optimum Prepaid Mastercard

Hi everyone.

This is my first post!

Can anyone give me any advice please?

I opened an Optimum Prepaid Mastercard at the beginning of August to transfer money to each month as I am trying to reduce my £2000 overdraft with another bank. I was thinking of getting my wages and disability benefits paid into the Optimum Card and paying bills etc from this one then using what's left each month to pay off the overdraft. Will my current bank allow this, as it means I won't have much going into my current account each month?!

Thanks for any advice and I hope it makes sense!

Personally I would open a new basic bank account. Try halifx easy cash or natwest step account. The pre=paid credit card will have fees for use which the bank accont wont.
Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!
