CCJ - what is a satisfied judgement?

I have a credit report of a business that owes me money.

They have 3 CCJ's but only the oldest one (4 years ago) is listed as a satisfied judgement.

What does a satisfied judgement mean?

Another question. I have issued a small claim against them but time is ticking and I don't know how confident I am of them paying up.

If I proceed with judgement what happens and will they really care as a company?

Comments

  • A satisfied judgement means you have paid up on the one of the CCJs and it is no longer outstanding. Having it noted as 'satisfied' will help a little with your credit record.

Regarding the other matter - if the Court has ruled in your favour then whoever it has ruled against must abide by that ruling or you can take them back to Court.

The one satisfied judgement is the oldest of the 3. The last one was in Jan of this year but has not been satisfied.
