Any advice for getting a ski holiday... tried the usual suspects like thomas cook but was wondering if anyone else had some experience with other providers.

What about CrystalSki or Inghams - I think they offer trips from somewhere in Ireland. From memory, Topflight do ski holidays from Dublin.

If you're short a ski buddy I'd be tempted to invite myself along since my other half has so far resisted all my efforts to get him on "two bits of waxed plastic"!!!!! Not even a trip to the Snodome in Tamworth and a snowboard lesson on real snow could change his mind.

Any ideas how I can persuade him to go?

I used to go through Ski McNeill in Belfast. They have a good selection of brochures and have last-minute deals on their website (obviously closer to the time).

I guess it depends on where you want to go and how easy it is to get there - meaning the last few times I've booked everything by myself separately. But then I was going on my own and staying in hostels which I know is not to everyones tastes. I had no hassle but I'm sure if there was a group of you, its probably nice to have someone meet you and put you in the coach and stuff.
