Hi guys
I called teh OR on Thursday last week as I received some info from the Land Registry - turns out that they dont need the info anyway, the guy that I spoke to said that the guy that was dealing with my case is back frm hl's next tues if i want to call back to double check, he said that they received my ED stuff a whle back, so anyway, he siad o keep an eye out for ED.
Anyway - I thought that as my case worker was away, then there woudl be no ED for a while, but, me being me, got into work Friday morning at around 7.30am and logged onto the site (it becomes an automatic reaction) and there it was - Discharged on 14th August. I refreshed the page as I could not believe it, then when it said the same ting after the refresh, i just burst into tears - so I have been discharged for just over a week and didnt now it. I am still in shock now. yesterday in the post the official letter came through, so thats it.
Its all a bit of a shock - BK for 6 months 3 days. people have said congratulations, i think that sounds a bit odd - its like - well done for getting a huge amount of debt and getting it written off - but i think that it is more about a fresh start. Already talking with my other half about moving in together now, so its onwards and upwards.
So - a big thank you to all on the forum - its a wealth of experience that you can draw on and relate to. I will still be readng posts and offering advice where i can.
I have applied for my credit report so that I can get that cleaned up.
So, still in shock, but relieved also. Thanks again to everyone!! xx:beer:

It really is the 'fresh start' bit that is to be celebrated. A point that some people just fail to get.
That is fabulous news.
